Who are our mentors?
Our mentors are caring adults that volunteer their time to help Chicago students succeed. No previous running experience is required; however every mentor is committed to put the needs of their student first.
- Our mentors come from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds
- Over 80% mentors from last year have returned, additional mentors have been added for the 2009 season to accommodate the expansion to nine schools.
- Several of our mentors are former Team M3 Student Runners who have graduated from Foreman High School and have returned to support their younger peers.
- Several mentors are also teachers of Team M3 Student Runners.
